As you know, Silver Diamine Fluoride has been approved by Health Canada to arrest the caries process in March 2017 and it has been a true paradigm shift since then. It has been granted by the US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) « Breakthrough Therapy Designation » and is gaining in popularity in dental offices in Canada and in the United States. Silver Diamine Fluoride has been used for decades in Japan as a gold standard treatment.
